Home for Christmas

Today we celebrated Christmas with all my family. It was a wonderful time of laughter and love...lots of love. Thought I'd share a 'taste' of the day. A few pics of my Christmas decor and our dinner this evening. Enjoy!

Yes, we have snow! It's a winter wonderland here!

All Hearts Come Home for Christmas!

Welcome!

My husband made these lanterns for all our friends and family one year for Christmas!

Our WillowTree Nativity on our fireplace.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

Second floor lit railing.

My son's bathroom. (You can only imagine how he loves to share his washroom with a couple of carolling dolls! It's only for a few short weeks!)

Our Ensuite! (Guess I should have cleared off the counter a little more before taking the picture! Oh well, hope it makes you feel at home.)

A touch of Christmas by the tub!

Kitchen!

Proof that I made Candy Cane Crunch and Peanut Butter cookies! (Tracie and Karen please take note if you read this! I used your recipes!)

Our Christmas table!

A sample place-setting!

Family!

May you and yours have a very blessed Christmas!

Thank you for the tour. My, you went to a great deal of work for your friends and family. Even into the bathrooms! That's decoration dedication.

Beautiful per usual.

Hey, Joy! Thanks so much for having us over to see your lovely home! I felt right at home! We have the same nativity scene!! I am missing the camels and wise men though! They haven't made it down south yet!I love the Willow Creek simplicity!

I can't get over all of the snow! WOw! Simply amazing!

Tell your son we appreciated his willingness to have his bathroom decorated and photographed!

Glad that y'all had a wonderful time with your family! I'm looking forward to our celebration this week with our relatives.Merry Christmas!

Love you bunches!
Susan

PS--If your husband ever gets a hankering to make another lamp post, I'd love to have one! It was gorgeous!

Joy,
I loved seeing your home and your family! Beautiful. What a great table you have for a crowd! Ours is getting a tad crowded but will still hold hubby, me, our kids and inlaws and grandbabies. Of course the youngest grandbaby is only 2 weeks old so won't require a chair and youngest son is not married...yet! ha In another year or two we'll not fit!

I love the covered butter dish that I can see in the pic of an individual place setting.

I will try and post some pictures of our dinner on Christmas. BUT I will try and not get any messy backgrounds in the pics.....I am SO not organized and neat the way YOU are!!! That is one area where we are way different!

I will be looking at the pictures again and again in the next few days!

Love ya,
Marilyn

My dear friend,
Thank you for your prayers for safe travel! I made it, praise God, with no bad roads all the way home. The way home was much better than the drive down to my parents house.

I love the pictures of your house, and all the snow you got! I just love snow... and though people around here will call me nuts, I want even more! :) Right now we are having a bit of a warmer spell, so we are getting drizzle/rain/freezing rain right now, switching to snow soon, i hope!

Again, thank you for your prayers and encouragement over this year! I love you my dear friend and hope that this finds you well.
May God bless you mightily!
Love,
Heather

What a beautiful 'tour' and I was one of the lucky ones to be AT that table for real and diner was lovely. I love taking picutres like this of my home, its as though you look at your home through someone elses eyes when you do this and appreciate what you have been blessed with even more.
